Exhaust wraps work by reducing the amount of heat lost through the exhaust system, meaning the internal systems of the vehicle run hotter. This increased temperature lowers the exhaust gas density, creating a stronger suction for air intake. Installing an exhaust wrap is easy. Simply soak the wrap in water to reduce the number of loose fibers. Wrap the header pipe and use a light application of clear coat spray to prevent fraying of the end of the wrap. Lastly, fold the end under the complete coil of wrap around the pipe to keep it secure.
